1/8 mile time

It has electric fans, underdrive pullies, K&N filter, Flow tech shorties, no cats, and a dual in dual out flowmaster muffler. I also have those stock traction bars that you sent me. They work GREAT. I found that if you put the rubber snubber on the bottom and install the bar itself upside down (the botoom is now the top), they make constant contact to leaf spring. The truck pulled a 2.09 60 ft with BF Goodrich Radial Long Trail T/A's!

I wanted to say SORRY for the episode with the traction bars. No hard feelings?
Tony:)

I agree, thats a good run for just a few mods and running off-road tires! I wonder how it would do in a mud drag?? :D

That's "near stock"? :)

9.23 would probably put you in the 14.4-14.5 range in the 1/4. Not bad for a "Classic" Lightning. ;)

About dead on there. When I had my 93 Lightning and it ran 9.25 1/8 it was a 14.51 1/4.

I guess I considered the few bolt ons as near stock. Figuring I have never even removed the valve cover it sounds like it is moving along pretty good. I am supposed to go to Bradenton on Sunday and run it in the 1/4, I would be really pleased if it went 14.60's let alone 14.50's!

I didnt catch what your timing was set at.. If you didnt advance it to 16*, DO IT! To prove the power it makes, Wednesday at the track, I ran consistant 1.90/1.89 60ft times with 12* of timing. (it was slick) I turned it up to 16* and the next pass it turned a tire smokin 1.97 60ft. The torque was MUCH stronger.
Wait a minute, Maybe you shouldnt advance it. You might just smoke the tires. Well it was a good thought! :D
