Had to go ahead and do this over the weekend. Replaced wheel skin steering wheel cover. The old one was getting a hole in it from 14 years of use.

Planning to get a new 4 gauge a pillar pod to get rid of the AFT gauge on the column and add a boost gauge(boost on the way too). Bezel will be replaced too.

Are you going to change tire sizes once lowered, or stay the same?

Thanks! Not on the back as they are new 305 Nitto drag radials. The front need to be replaced now so I will see how these fit when lowered and change to shorter sidewall if needed.

Cool, can’t wait to see what it looks like.

What rims are those? Talking about Nitto Radials, I tempted to buy them from 4wheelonline. I read good reviews about them and they were on sale.

Rims are gen2 replicas. 2001-2002 style. Bought back in 2007, can’t remember where or brand name. Yes nitto 555R. Outstanding for street use! I went from spinning the heck out of the 295/45/18 through 2nd gear to barely spinning these on the street without being heated up. And that’s with a 3600 converter. Haven’t had them on the track yet so can’t say how they are for track use.

Bought this from a member and spent all weekend disassembling, cleaning, painting and reassembling. Install coming soon. Don’t think I can wait until the winter for this one

Looking good. What fan(s) are you running? What part # did you use for the soft start?

Nice job on the paint David! It looks really good. I was surprised when I saw you buy that, I know you had plans to go turbo, is this an intermediate step?

Thanks bud! Yes. Most definitely an intermediate step. Until I get more time to layout and build the turbo set up, probably next year. Nothing worse than leaving a new built Camaro off the line to see him pull around you at the 1/8 mile mark…lol. This will fix that.. hopefully!
