E4OD questions

I am trying to determine the build date of my tranny in my 93L so I can see if the MIB kit will work. The tag reads as follows:

DATE 084-9
F2TZ7000AGRM
R 790264

I bought the tranny from ford through a tech. friend in 1999.

Also was wondering if they might have used the 4r100 geartrain in it since it was bought so late. (fingers crossed)

If not what will it take to make this the last tranny for this truck. I'm not a big fan of Auto's but I like my L.

That's not a Ford tag, so I really can't help you with it.
Let me look into it and see which MIAB will work with it. I doubt it has the 4R100 geartrain.

that's a Ford reman transmission #. 92 model. not exactly sure of application, though.
